This philosophy stems from a very simple, yet profound belief: We treat our patients the way we would like to be treated.

Meet Dr. Garrett Swanson
Dr. Garrett Swanson has the pleasure and privilege to serve people in the Reno area as well as the surrounding communities of Northern Nevada. First and foremost, Dr. Swanson recognizes that a trip to the dentist is traditionally not on most patients’ list of favorite activities. He understands that a dentist and a proctologist have a lot in common when it comes to peoples’ desire to visit, which is to say it can be severely lacking at times. It is this pervasive stigma of dentistry that he strives to change in the minds of his patients and hopefully in the community as a whole. Although his wife may sometimes disagree, Dr. Swanson is a great listener and takes the time to understand your concerns and goals related to your oral health. He is committed to restoring optimum oral health, and enhancing the natural beauty of each patient’s smile.
Dr. Swanson takes great pride in owning his local Reno private dental practice, which enables him to deliver personalized care of the highest quality. As a dentist devoted to lifelong learning, Dr. Swanson enjoys furthering his education by attending many dental courses each year so he can continue to provide the best possible treatment to his patients.
Born in the Chicago suburbs and raised in Nevada, Dr. Swanson is an alumnus of the University of Nevada, Reno, where he received his Bachelors degree and fell in love with the Reno area. He went on to study dentistry at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine, receiving his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine, and has been practicing in Reno, NV ever since.

When out of the office, Dr. Swanson loves to be in the great outdoors, whether its hiking, camping, mountain biking, or just exploring the beautiful landscapes of northern Nevada with his wife, Ana, and two boys. Dr. Swanson is a big lover of music, the arts, and has come to enjoy the craft of woodworking.
